DLC V5.0 Premium Requirements

• Products submitted for qualification until January 31, 2021
• DLC Premium is a higher-performance classification for luminaires and retrofit kits. The V5.0 Premium classification is intended to differentiate products that achieve efficacy and controllability performance that exceeds DLC Standard requirements.

DLC V5.1 Premium Requirement

• Products submitted for qualification beginning July 1, 2020
• DLC Premium under V5.1 is a higher-performance classification for luminaires and retrofit kits. The Premium classification is intended to differentiate products that achieve higher energy savings while delivering light quality and controllability performance that exceed DLC Standard requirements
• Major difference is Glare Discomfort in luminaries as defined by UGR Rating. Please see WhiteOptics Glare Reduction Films to reduce high-angle light while increasing central peak intensity.
